Luxury Queen Room – internal, ground floor

Luxury queen room, The Academy, celebrates Woodbridge’s time as a Young Gentlemen’s Academy.

This Room is on the Entry Level but has 2 wooden steps up into the room. It is a delightful bright room with high ceilings and tall windows, and looks down onto the garden and river. The bed is elevated, 1 step up, offering magnificent river views from bed. It has a shower over the bath. The bath is sunken for easy step in, with grab rail.
Because of room configuration, cupboard space is limited.

A clutter-free room with clean lines creating a calming retreat.

Smooth surfaces are suitable for those with allergies.

Because of previous false fire brigade call-outs, and smoke damage, we no longer allow fires in private rooms.

The Academy combines well with the nearby Sharland or the Alloway Banks for groups or families.

• Does this rooms have river views?

This room is on the entrance level. It looks out over the wisteria terrace and expansive garden, all framed by magnificent river vistas.

• Is there a fireplace in this room?

There is a fireplace but unfortunately, because of previous mishaps, we no long allow fires in the bedrooms. Please sad staff if you would like to have the fire can be lit in the Ballroom.

• Are there other luxury queen rooms on this level?
