It is now ready to celebrate yours.

 

 

Steeped in history and defined by understated grandeur and beauty, The Woodbridge offers a backdrop of timeless elegance for your special day. 

Built by convicts in 1825 on the most commanding position on the river, Heritage Listed Woodbridge is one of Australia’s oldest Grand Homes.

Reimagined in 2007 as a five star boutique hotel, The Woodbridge operated as a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World from 2007 to 2019. 

Today, as she opens her doors to welcome weddings, you and up to 16 of your nearest and dearest staying in the 9 large ensuite rooms, will have exclusive use of the property.

You will enjoy gathering together in the three beautiful communal rooms, the Reading Room, the Ballroom Lounge and the Salon, each day of your stay.

Our beautiful riverside gardens with Woodbridge’s imposing 3 storey facade, is an obvious stage for your ceremony. 

The stunning Pavilion overhanging the river, with its high ceilings and huge windows embracing the water views, is the perfect indoor space for your reception. And also for your ceremony if you so choose.

Capture the romance of 1800s Europe, with photo opportunities around every corner. 

Magical moments caught against historic palettes, multi-paned windows, original fireplaces, enchanting gardens and jaw-dropping river vistas.

The simple refinement of Georgian architecture is a blank canvas and is the perfect setting for your choice of styling. It seamlessly blends with modern design elements, but is enough of a statement by itself to stand alone.

And for a stunning photo opportunity, consider arrivals or departures by helicopter, seaplane or river boat to our private river pontoon.

Weddings are such a busy time – we don’t have to tell you that! 

But they are most importantly an expression of love and hope and togetherness.

Being all together on site at The Woodbridge gives the time and space to spend precious moments with those who really matter, saying the things that really matter, creating memories to treasure for forever.

 

Welcome your guests with drinks under the almond trees. Wind down at night around the Ballroom fireplace. Embrace each day with everyone together over breakfast.

 

On the big day, you should be relaxed, savouring every moment, and delighting in the execution of your dream.

And so, we operate only through wedding planners.

Your wedding planner will ensure that everything runs smoothly so that you and your loved ones can just lose yourselves in the joy of the day.

Venue hire fee from $2500 + GST

Friday and Saturday – 2 nights minimum stay for up to 18 guests (9 rooms, exclusive use) from $5400 per night including GST

Venue hire fee from $3000 + GST

Includes the exclusive use of:

-Luxury accommodation- 9 rooms 

-Use of the reading room, ballroom lounge, salon and kitchenette

-The beautiful foreshore for your ceremony & indoor backup plan

-Photography onsite

-Dining room for your reception or dine on the foreshore (weather dependent)
