Tasmanian Fly Fishing

Whether you are an experienced fisher, a rank amateur, or wanting to learn a new skill, our expert guides will tailor your private experience to your specific needs.

This experience is for a full day of fly fishing for 1 or 2 persons accompanied by a private guide.

If you wish to have successive days fly fishing please book 2 fly fishing experiences.

We will first check that our guides are available and will contact you when everything is confirmed.

This is a soft adventure nature package, so guests must be prepared for what nature serves up – rain, sun, cold etc. The guide will determine if bad weather warrants cancelling trip or not (Fly Fishing cost will be refunded if the guides call the trip off).

While your guides will take you to where the fish have been rising, there is, of course, no guaranteed that the fish will bite.

The guides will collect you from The Woodbridge and return transfer you at the end of the day.

This fly fishing experience includes full training and supply of all equipment. Your shoe size will be requested so that the correct size waders can be supplied.

As part of the experience, you will share a fisher’s lunch with your guide.
