The Academy is a bright room with high ceilings and tall windows overlooking the garden and river. The elevated bed platform, accessed by a single step, offers magnificent river views from bed. The ensuite includes a shower over a sunken bath with an easy step-in design and grab rail for added stability.

The uncluttered design and clean lines create a calming retreat.

The original fireplace is retained as a heritage feature but is no longer operational.

If friends or family are travelling together, The Academy pairs well with Sharland, Cottage or Alloway Banks.

• Does this room have river views?

The Academy looks out over the Wisteria Pergola Terrace and gardens, and has uninterrupted Derwent River views. Views from the bed are a special treat.

• Is there a fireplace in this room?

The original fireplace is retained as a heritage feature but is no longer operational.

• Are there other King rooms on this level?

Yes. Three Bridges Premier King Spa Suite with Terrace is accessed from the entry level, with four steps into the suite. Alloway Banks King Spa Suite with Terrace and Arches King Room with Terrace are both on the lower ground floor, down fifteen steps.
