Originally the single room Coachman’s cottage beside the main house, the main bedroom has delightful coffered ceilings. This was adjoined to the main building sometime in the 1800’s, and the verandah was later enclosed to create a sitting room.
It is accessed from the main entrance and may be reserved as a 1 bedroom Queen option, with a separate sitting room.
It can accommodate 3 persons by utilising the small annex, creating a space for a second single bed.
The bathroom has a shower over the bath, and a separate toilet. Shower/bath has a grab rail.
The Cottage is at the far end of the building so there may be some traffic noise. especially in the bathroom..
A clutter-free room with clean lines creating a calming retreat.
Smooth surfaces are suitable for those with allergies.
Because of previous false fire brigade call-outs, and smoke damage, we no longer allow fires in private rooms.
The Annex – extra bed option
There is an Annex off the lounge into which we can place a
single bed. This will suit an adult or child (8 years or older). There is a toilet attached to the Annex. There is no additional furniture in the Annex.
The Cottage may suit 2 or 3 people travelling together.
Add the additional single bed via the Extras Option on the booking platform.
