Heli Distillery Tour

We have partnered with Tasmanian helicopter providers to create some truly memorable packages for the 2025-26 season.  Optimise your time by combining spectacular scenery with a premium Tasmanian taste experiences.

The helicopter will collect you from The Woodbridge foreshore and transfer you across iconic Tasmanian landmarks, complementing your Tassie taste sensation with stunning views of Tassie from the air.

We have flight and tasting packages north west to Lawrenny Estate or south east to McHenry Whisky & Gin. An additional tasting at Lark Distillery at beautiful Shene can be added to the McHenry trip

Exquisite Lawrenny Estate is an historic property. It sits on the banks of the Derwent River, and is surrounded by the mountains of the beautiful Derwent Valley. Lawrenny has converted centuries old barns into state of the art distilleries and bond stores. It crafts multi-award winning premium Tasmanian whisky, gin and vodka.

Fly south to the Tasman Peninsula for McHenry Whisky & Gin Distillery. Enjoy a tour of McHenry, famous for its sloe gin and for colour changing Butterfly gin – blue from the Butterfly pea flower botanical turning pink with the addition of tonic water.

As an add-on option for your trip to McHenry’s you can choose to swing across to Shene. Shene is an historic horse property. It’s spectacular Gothic building and horse stables now house Tasmania’s famous Lark Distillery.

As an add-on option the helicopter suppliers also offer to bring a gourmet lunch hamper for you to enjoy at your chosen destination.

If you would prefer, we can offer a flight and tasting package including a guided 5 wine tasting and grazing platter at Bangor  Vineyard. The add-on option for a visit to Lark Distillery at Shene can also be added to this package.
