VERY PRIVATE. NO ROOMS ABOVE, BELOW or BESIDE.
This Spa Suite with King Bed overlooks the bridgehead remains of 3 bridges, including the first 1834 wooden bridge across the Derwent, from which Woodbridge took its name.
This is a very private suite, at the end of an entrance corridor, with 5 steps, and no adjacent rooms or rooms above or below.
It has a hexagonal bedroom with high ceilings and tall windows, and a Living Room. Adjoining the Living Room is the Sunroom overlooking the Garden Terrace and river. The Sunroom opens via 5 steps onto the front Garden Terraces with tables and chairs under the almond trees.
The bathroom is small to fit available space. ‘Available space configuration’ is often the challenge in Heritage Listed buildings. It has s shower over a corner whirlpool bath, large enough for two. The bath has a grab rail.
Clutter-free rooms with clean lines create a calming retreat.
Smooth surfaces are suitable for those with allergies.
Because of previous false fire brigade call-outs, and smoke damage, we no longer allow fires in private rooms.
The Three Bridges combines well with The Roadknight or The Sarah Schaw for groups or families.
The Three Bridges Suite is down a small flight of 5 steps. In line with OHS guidelines, staff are not permitted to carry luggage in excess of 20 kilograms. Please be aware that Woodbridge is a Heritage-listed building and there are no lifts.
