This Room is named after the third owner, William Sharland, Assistant Surveyor General, explorer and innovator, gentleman farmer, whose family called Woodbridge home for several generations.
This Room is on the Entry Level and is easily accessible from the main entrance. It has a shower over bath with grab rail. It is a bright, spacious Room with high ceilings and tall windows, and looks out over the Terrace Gardens and river.
It has a very large bathroom, with shower over bath and grab rail … and river views while you shower!

Because of previous false fire brigade call-outs, and smoke damage, we no longer allow fires in private rooms.
The Sharland combines well with The Academy or The Roadknight nearby for groups or families. Usually, a 2-night minimum stay is required.
