Premier Luxury Queen Room – Entrance level

Premier luxury queen room, the Sharland was named after third owner, William Sharland, Assistant Surveyor General, explorer and gentleman farmer. His wife, Sarah Schaw, had 11 children and the family called Woodbridge home for several generations.

This Room is on the Entry Level and is easily accessible from the main entrance. It has a shower over bath with grab rail.

This is a bright, spacious Room with high ceilings and tall windows, and looks out over the Terrace Gardens and river.

The large bathroom has a shower over bath and grab rail … and river views while you shower!

A clutter-free room with clean lines creating a calming retreat.

Smooth surfaces are suitable for those with allergies.

Because of previous false fire brigade call-outs, and smoke damage, we no longer allow fires in private rooms.

The Sharland combines well with The Academy or The Roadknight nearby for groups or families. Usually, a 2-night minimum stay is required.

• Does this room have river views?

This room looks out over the wisteria pergola and has lovely garden views all backed by the magnificent river vistas.

• Is there a fireplace in this room?

There is a fireplace, but unfortunately, because of previous mishaps, we no long allow fires in the bedrooms. However, if you would like to have the fire lit in the Ballroom, just ask the staff and they will set one for the evening.

• Is this the only Premier Luxury Queen Room?
