Luxury king room – lower floor, private entrance

Luxury king room, the Arches is our largest Room and is available as a King or Twin configuration.

The Arches is named for the lovely arched recesses along one wall of the room. It is down 15 steps on the lower level with the charm of stone walls and lower ceilings. The Arches is a very private room tucked away at the end of the lower corridor. This room opens onto the Wisteria Pergola Terrace with sun lounges, overlooking the river.

A clutter-free room with smooth surfaces creating a calming retreat.

As this room has some stone walls, it may not be suitable for those with allergies.

Because of previous false fire brigade call-outs, and smoke damage, we no longer allow fires in private rooms.

The Arches combines well with The Lindley or The Alloway Banks for groups or families.

The Arches is down a flight of stairs. In line with OHS guidelines, staff are not permitted to carry luggage in excess of 20 kilograms. Please be aware that Woodbridge is a Heritage-listed building and there are no lifts.

Frequently asked questions

• Does this room have river views?

This room has lovely river and garden views. It has a private foyer entrance onto the wisteria terrace, where you can and enjoy the magnificent river vistas.

• Is there a fireplace in this room?

There is a fireplace but unfortunately, because of previous mishaps, we no long allow fires in the bedrooms. Please sad staff if you would like to have the fire can be lit in the Ballroom.

• Is there other king rooms to choose from?

Both Spa Suites and the Junior Suite have king beds, but this is the only luxury king room. See all rooms
