Premier King Spa Suite with Terrace

The Three Bridges is our Premier King Spa Suite with Terrace. It overlooks the remains of three historic bridge approaches, including the site of the first wooden bridge built across the River Derwent in 1834. Light-filled bedroom in The Three Bridges Premier King Spa Suite

This exceptionally private suite sits at the end of its own entrance corridor, with no guest rooms beside, above or below.

The hexagonal bedroom features high ceilings and tall windows, while the separate living area includes a lounge, dining space and a louvred sunroom overlooking the garden and the Derwent River. Five steps lead from the sunroom onto the Almond Tree Terrace.

As is common in heritage-listed buildings, the bathroom has been thoughtfully designed within the original footprint. It includes a whirlpool spa bath with overhead shower and a grab rail for additional support.

The uncluttered design and clean lines create a calm, relaxing retreat.

The original fireplaces remain as heritage features but are no longer operational.

For families or friends travelling together, The Three Bridges can be booked alongside The Roadknight or The Sarah Schaw.

Please note: access involves four internal steps and five external garden steps, so this suite is not suitable for guests requiring step-free access.
