Daily schedules at your Luxury Hotel Accommodation

Woodbridge is open to welcome guests from September to May.

Group Retreats (6 room/2 night min) and Exclusive Use Retreats (8 or 9 rooms, 2-night min) may be available over Winter months.

Check-In: Guests are asked to please arrive 3.00pm– 6.00pm, unless by prior arrangement. Knowing guests’ estimated arrival time enables us to tailor the check-in process to ensure a seamless and relaxed arrival for all.

Check Out: by 10.00am, please.

If your plane arrives in early and you have time to wander before your check-in at 3 pm, see our suggestions of what to see and where to have lunch by clicking here.

Early Checkin and Late Checkout will be accommodated if we are able to do so, and will be charged at $50/hr or part thereof.

Reception: The Pavilion is usually unattended 10.00am – 3.00/4.00pm while guests are out sightseeing, and again after dinner service is completed, or after 6.00pm if there is no scheduled dinner service. There is an Guest Kitchen and Honour Bar in the main house for your convenience.

At all times, guests have direct access to staff via our Mobile Concierge Service linked to your phone.

Dining: The Pavilion is not a restaurant. It is our dining room for in-house guests only, and meals are served at specific times. Please be aware that breakfast and dinner are not necessarily available without prior arrangement.

Breakfast is served 8.00am and closes 9.30am

Dinner is served at 7.00pm, with pre-dinner drinks from 6.30pm.

We have a set menu for dinner, which changes daily, and will be planned with advance notification dietary restrictions in mind.

Guests sit at separate tables, but the dinner is served simultaneously for all tables – the first course is served at 7.00pm.  So, in consideration of all, guests are asked to please arrive at 6.30pm to be seated and order drinks.

The Guest Kitchen and Honour Bar are available 24 hr for your convenience.

Walking Routes: There are lovely walking trails following the river and adjoining rivulets. Ask for a walking map at checkin.

Raid the fruit trees: The peach tree at reception fruits abundantly. Fruit are ripe in Feb-Mar so please help us by eating as many as you can (otherwise we have to pick them up!).

Fires: Although we have 13 working fireplaces, we now only light fires in the Ballroom to minimise our environmental impact. We do not light fires in rooms because repeated false alarms have resulted in unnecessary fire brigade call outs. All fireplaces have chimney lids fitted and guests are asked to contact our Mobile Concierge Service to request the Ballroom fire be set.

Heating & Cooling: Each room is fitted with its own combination of heating, fans and air-conditioner. Guests can therefore set temperatures as they prefer for their stay.

The common areas are also independent, and guests can adapt to suit themselves while using the space.

Music: We chose to not have generic piped music. There are CD players in the Reading Room and in the Salon – please feel free to turn them on or off, and to select your CD. There are additional CDs in the Pavilion, where you can opt to change the selection during mealtimes if we get it wrong!

There are several nice music channels on your TV – around channel 200.

Going out at night?: Please turn on the outside door light of the Main House before you go, so that you can see the your keys.

At Bedtime: To ensure the peaceful enjoyment of all guests, The Pavilion is closed after dinner, approx 9.00pm, and the lights in The Main House automatically turn off at 11.00pm. Guests are asked to be mindful of the comfort of others and observe the ‘Quiet Please’ etiquette from 10.00pm until 8.00am.
