Covid Safe Plan Guest Information

While we don’t want to go overboard, we need to take precautions.

Interstate & International visitors will be screened before being permitted to enter Tasmania.

While Tasmania no longer mandates mask-wearing, our staff will be wearing masks and we ask that, in consideration of staff and other guests, everyone wear masks when interacting inside.

HOW GUESTS CAN HELP

Prior to your arrival, we may request information relating to your state of health and travel history. Please delay your stay at The Woodbridge if you are unwell.

You are NOT required to check in using QR code. Our staff will continue to wear masks and we ask that guests mask up in common areas.

If your become unwell while at The Woodbridge, please stay isolated in your room and contact our office on 0417996305. Please do not use hall phones.

We will arrange for medical advice to be obtained at guest’s expense.

Please cough/sneeze into tissue or elbow, and do NOT attend common and dining areas if you are coughing/sneezing.

Flush tissues down the toilet rather than place in bins. Do NOT flush wipes of other material down toilet as it will block the sewerage system of your room.

Please observe 1.5 social distancing.

Please use private external doors where applicable to minimise hall traffic.

Dining tables are ‘distanced’.

Please practice social distancing in common areas. Our Common areas easily accommodate density restrictions.

The Pavilion will be closed except for breakfast 8.00-9.30am, checkout to 10.00, checkin from 3.00pm, dinner 6.30-9.00pm. The Pavilion will be closed when not required for these uses.

Hand sanitising stations are strategically placed throughout the public area. Please sanitise before entering the buildings, and before entering the common areas.

Your room will be your safe ‘bubble’. Staff will not enter your room, and rooms will not be serviced. Additional towels can be supplied. Please contact us if you require anything.

Please handle your own luggage where possible.

We are available 24/7  during your stay via the Mobile Concierge  0417996305. Please keep communicating and we will keep you informed via email and sms.

To minimise contact, staff will only be on site when required for breakfast & dinner service, checkin/out, cleaning.

WHAT WE WILL DO

Our Bubble Strategy has been created to ensure your safe enjoyment of The Woodbridge. Your room will be your personal ‘bubble’.

This strategy includes minimised contact,  private entrance options, limited access hallway traffic, closed access to your room, contactless concierge services, and revised food services.

Importantly, we do not have centralised air-conditioning. You control your own bubble.

Common areas have been reconfigured for social distancing.

Common areas will be frequently sanitised with special attention to high touch surfaces.

Some books, magazines, games jigsaws, CDs and soft furnishings have been removed from common areas. Please hand sanitise if using these.

There is aerosol disinfectant available in all common areas, as well as hand sanitiser.

Common areas will be closed from time to time for cleaning and disinfecting.

The sauna jacuzzi laundry annex is closed to guests.

We have minimised face to face contact and implemented paperless systems.

Checkin and checkout are now paperless.

Welcome to our Covid Remote Concierge Service – wherever possible, we will communicate remotely. Information will be shared by e-compendiums, emails and sms, and our full concierge service is still available to assist you, just remotely to minimise your contacts.

Woodbridge is a cashless environment – Creditcards only.

Rooms will look somewhat different from images. We have decluttered to minimise touch surfaces, removing minibar, extra glasses & crockery, robes, magazines, some cushions etc.

Between occupancies, rooms are deep cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant & sanitiser. Rooms are then left empty for a period. We have brought our checkout back to 10.00am to give additional time for this process.

We own all our own linens so we know exactly where they have been.

Please know that, while The Woodbridge will take every care, you are responsible for any medical costs or quarantining costs that may occur if you become unwell during your stay at The Woodbridge.

Please also know that The Woodbridge retains the right to refuse entry to The Woodbridge, any person who is showing signs of any of the symptoms of Covid19 or any other transmissible disease.
