‘Take time for all things.’ - Benjamin Franklin
‘Things that money can’t usually buy’ Experience Series
We have been in discussion with several very special people, developing partnerships for our ‘Things that money can’t usually buy’ Series of experiences. We aim to provide the opportunity for our guests to ‘get close and personal’ with interesting persons and things, go ‘behind the scenes’ and ‘meet the maker’, and try their hand at doing something different. This will be an organic process as these people will not always be able to make themselves available, so what is on offer will be constantly reviewed.
Bee-keeping and the Nectar of the Gods
Ever fancied the world of honey? Our experience will have you working with the apiarist smoking out the bees, collecting the honey, spinning the honey from the honeycomb, sharing the secrets of making honey liquor and enjoying the fruits of your labour over a ‘ cuppa’ or a glass or two with the maker.

BBQ the ‘Beer Fed Beef’ at Two Metre Tall Brewery
The Two Metre Tall Brewery is a farm based brewery creating Real Ale & Real Cider using ingredients grown on the 600ha property in the Derwent Valley, and using local heritage hops from Bushy Park (the home of hops in Australia), all just 10 minutes from Woodbridge.
On Friday evenings during the warmer months, Ashley and Jane set up a Farm Bar on the property and you can drop in for a pint or two. Woodbridge can supply a picnic or you can purchase some of their ‘Beer-Fed Beef’ to grill on the on-site BBQ. Kick back and relax ‘Derwent Valley style’. Sometimes there is a band, other times an impromptu amateur performance. Unique!
