‘If not now, when?’ – Hillel the Elder
‘Things that money can’t usually buy’ Experience Series
We have been in discussion with several very special people, developing partnerships for our ‘Things that money can’t usually buy’ Series of experiences. We aim to provide the opportunity for our guests to ‘get close and personal’ with interesting persons and things, go ‘behind the scenes’ and ‘meet the maker’, and try their hand at doing something different. This will be an organic process as these people will not always be able to make themselves available, so what is on offer will be constantly reviewed.
Enjoy, experience and make a difference!
Work behind the scenes at a Tasmanian Wildlife Sanctuary, caring for babies and injured in the animal hospital, feeding and caring for the animals including the endangered Tasmanian Devil. This private hands-on experience with your own expert guide, affords you an intimate insight into the world of conservation, and ‘up close and personal’ photo opportunities.
Guests at Woodbridge, who have enjoyed this experience, have been moved to sponsor projects at the sanctuary. If you would like to meet personally with the Director of the Sanctuary to discuss how you can help, we will be pleased to set up an appointment.
Behind the scenes at MONA
MONA (Museum of Old & New Art) which is only 15 minutes glorious riverside drive from Woodbridge, and our unique and exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ experience with them is proving very popular with our guests.
MONA is exciting, often confronting, always intriguing, and the story of its inception and creation is absorbing and brought to life in your hosted introduction to the collections.
There is much to absorb, and your day in interspersed with breaks for wine tastings and lunch at Moorilla Winery.
Our ‘Hand crafting your own Golf Clubs’ Experience was very well received – we hope to be able to offer this unique hands-on experience again soon.
