Fancy testing your resolve with the tallest commercial structure abseil in Australia? Or would you prefer to go ‘over the top’ of spectacular oceanfront cliffs? Woodbridge offers private abseiling instruction and adventures.

Like the idea of being picked up at the front door … well riverfront jetty actually. We now have this exciting option available for our guests. Seaplane pickup from Woodbridge for sightseeing trips with landing to The Great Southern Wilderness, or to Port Arthur, or Freycinet, or the Gordon Franklin.

We can also arrange seaplane transfers to MONA or between Woodbridge and SAFFIRE.

Helicopters can land and take off from our rural Annex, Truffle Lodge, just 10 minutes from Woodbridge. Transfers to and from the airport and Saffire can be combined with our ‘Big Boy Toys with Wheels’ Experience, and the prestige car of your choice will be waiting for you when you land at at Truffle Lodge.

Some of Tasmania’s most spectacular wilderness is ‘off the beaten track’ and only accessible by 4-wheel drive. We will have this operational by October 2012

‘Big Boy Toys Rafting’ Experience

Starting at Woodbridge’s private rural annex, Truffle Lodge, you will raft downstream towards Woodbridge through cliffs, under country rail and road bridges, through hop fields and orchards. This is a visually spectacular trip with moderate rapids for a bit on an adrenalin rush! As soon as the weather warms up a little, we will be ready to roll.

Optional Extra: The Seaplane can collect you from Woodbridge’s river pontoon, and deliver you to the pontoon at Truffle Lodge from which to start your rafting experience.
