Tasman Island Cruise

This 3 hour wilderness cruise explores the spectacular coastline between Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck. You will The travels beneath the highest vertical sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere and explore waterfalls, rock formations, archways and deep-sea caves.

The coastline is part of the Tasman National Park and it is home to a variety of wildlife including hundreds of seals, migrating whales and abundant sea birds in their thousands, and you are likely to see the feeding frenzy of diving gannets, albatross and sea eagles wheeling on the wind, cliff-nesting cormorants and peregrine falcons, or a pod of playful dolphins surfing the bow wave of the boat.
The custom built viewing boats hold a maximum of 43 guests, and the small numbers and covered open-air tiered seating means an excellent all-round view and connection

Food is not included in the tour price. Guests are welcome to bring their own food, or use the many eateries on the Tasman Peninsula.

The tour leaves from Port Arthur, and there are both a morning (checkin 9.15 for 10am tour) or afternoon (checkin 1.15 for 2pm) cruise.
You can plan your day in one of two ways:

i) You may self drive to Port Arthur and you should allow 2 hours to drive to join the cruise.
or
ii) You can join the bus transfer from Hobart, leaving 7.45am from Franklin Wharf, and returning 6pm. Charges apply to parking at Franklin Wharf.

Bruny Island Wilderness Cruise

Experience Bruny Island’s rugged coastline in this award winning 3 hour tour aboard custom built viewing boats. The boats hold a maximum of 43 guests, and the small numbers and covered open-air tiered seating means an excellent all-round view and connection.
Explore some of Australia’s highest sea cliffs, enter deep sea caves and join in the search for abundant coastal wildlife such as seals, dolphins, migrating whales and sea birds.

The Cruise departs from Adventure Bay on Bruny Island at 11.00am.
There are 3 ways that you can plan your day:

i) Guests can make their own way there by car, ensuring they arrive by 10.30am for check-in.
Bruny Island is accessible by a 20 minute vehicular ferry ride from Kettering, a 45 minute drive south of Hobart. Guests should plan to take either the 7.45am or 9.30am ferry. We suggest arriving at the ferry terminal at least 30 minutes prior to the ferry departure time (earlier in peak times).
Morning Tea & Lunch
or
ii) Guests can leave their car in the parking area at Kettering and join the transfer bus across to Bruny to join the cruise. Bus Transfer departs Kettering 8.45am and includes some sightseeing on Bruny.
or
iii) Guests can leave their car in the parking area at Franklin Wharf, Hobart (parking charges apply) and join the transfer bus across to Bruny to connect with the cruise. Bus Transfer departs Hobart 8am and returns 5.30pm and includes some sightseeing on Bruny.

Food is not included in the tour price. Guests are welcome to bring their own food, or morning tea and lunch can be purchased on the day. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available on request.
