“Too much of a good thing is wonderful” – Mae West
The Mansion houses The Ballroom, The Supper Room, The Reading Room, a Guest Computer Room and 8 Suites and Rooms. All common areas are for guest use unless pre-booked for a specific purpose.
The interior palette is cool calming muted tones which complement the rich grains and textures of the blackwood floors, antique windows, handmade bricks and stone walls which characterise the building.
The emphasis is on relaxation and comfort with lush modern furnishings, deep lounges, soft music, and room to move, and each of the 13 original fireplaces has been restored to use.
The corridors reveal curios around every corner, and the walls throughout display original artworks, many of which were specifically commissioned for Woodbridge, including works made from the many old hand forged nails found on the site. On display also are works from owners Laurelle & John Grimley’s private art collection.
