The Pavilion is a separate building with spectacular river and garden views.

In the warmer months, Dinner and ‘Breakfasts worth waking for’ are usually served in the Pavilion. In cooler months, we often dine in front of a blazing fire in the Supper Room in the Mansion.

Guests meet at ‘Sundown’ for pre-dinner drinks in The Pavilion. The bar in The Pavilion features the finest of Derwent Valley wines and ales, and our Cellar (formerly the Convict Lockup) boasts some of the last reserves of highly acclaimed Stefano Lubiana vintages. Guests are welcome to relax over drinks or coffee in The Pavilion at any time.

The Pavilion is built over two levels and either or both of these may be pre-booked for specific functions.
